I have no idea what is happening in my life right now. 

It's both scary and exciting.

I made an incredible new friend on Facebook a couple days ago...

Jodi from Manhattan.

She is both an animal rights advocate and vegan - and artist.

I follow Sheila and I looooove her art...

I want to go buy some canvas and acrylics.

Then I started a devoted addiction to Following Atticus blog.

And I want to get out with Lia and walk!  (walk..like miles? Geez!)

 

Yes, I still (somewhat) enjoy the work I do...

but things are certainly changing...

I'm off to the treadmill (see what I mean!)

 

THIS is what I want my "Business Suit" to look like.

And after 5, I'll change to flip-flops or hiking boots!!!

There's not a lot of thought in this Saturday afternoon post - I actually need a nap.  But I found this "Art Quote" and thought about the evil of man.  Wars. Gun violence. Domestic violence. Animal abuse of all kinds. Factory farming.  Egos that kill for sport.  Animal testing for domestic uses...do we really NEED that mascara?  Bleach?  Human trafficking.  Our melting polar caps and greening our world.  Oh yes, there's much more.

 

Is it all stemming from money and ego? Why are we doing what we do to this planet and when are we going to wake up?  Thanks, Wall Street, for the memories.

 

I think I'll plant my own tomato plants this year and try to find a Wisteria Tree to

plant near my little patio.  I hope it blossoms before I die.

...decorating dilemma...

I stopped at a favorite little shoppe on my way home...called Haven.  Yes...Pour le Home!

Ohhhh, I drool over all their stuff (they follow me around with a bib and towel)...and what do I bring home with me to "just see if you like it" ? (I LOVE shops that do that)
...more horse paintings.

My home has turned into a Horse Gallery  - every now and then you may see a pic of a dog..or Zebra (BLACK AND WHITE STRIPED HORSE IN MY OPINION)...I think there's a cow on the hearth and a couple of vases...but mostly horses...

 

When I visit the many blogs I enjoy...or spend too too too much time on tumblr and even Facebook, it's either horses, dogs or farm animals...or birch trees (insert heart shape).

 

So I've paced all evening as to whether these pieces of art are too much equine or do I keep them cuz they're 'eye candy' to me.  I decided to let it go and to back to some blogs.

 

Have I told you yet that I love Tracy and Hepburn?  In anything?

 

How about on - YEP...HORSES!

 

 

 

Yes...I'm keeping the paintings.
