Summer arrived today.

It's 82 and 100% humidity.

Granny would say "phew, it's close" -

meaning...a storm is a'brewin.

A Fish named Lips

This will be crazy.

Many years ago - 11-12 years ago,

 our fish pond was filled with goldfish.  Teeney cute goldfish.

Larry loved his pond and yes, named the fish.

Spike.  White Fin.  Pale Face. Sargent (stripes).  And Lips.

and yes...this itsy, bitsy little gold fish had an upper and lower lips.

Only Larry would appreciate this...or you, had you met him.

Perennials are my favorite flowers.

For good reason:

IN MY OPINION, they are the finest

of all the summer flowers.

That's the best.

They don't last long enough.

And that's the worst!
